Let Earth unbalanced from her orbit fly / Planets and Suns run lawless through the sky. <br /> An Essay on Man - Alexander Pope

I have only seen the kind
That exists inside my mind
I’ve learned that love is far too fragile
To try and live inside its walls

I bundled up and faced the cold
Frosty winters as I get old
The Sun’s too damn far away
To turn my night back into day

Don’t make a path through this snow
This is all I’ve ever know
Keep warm and stay away
There is ice inside my veins
And I don’t want to steal your fire
Leave me be and watch me die

She put up pictures in my room
Bones are food to be consumed
It’s not so bad if you’ve learned
That Paper Love’s all you deserve

I sleep inside my igloo house
I’m all alone; the only comfort is the smoke
The only comfort is the smoke

Don’t make a path through this snow
This is all I’ve ever know
Keep warm and stay away
There is ice inside my veins
And I don’t want to steal your fire
Leave me be and watch me die

Tonight I am faded like the stars above
I am numb to their empty love
Watch me carve myself out of snow
This is the love that you have shown

Don’t make a path through this snow
This is all I've ever know
Keep warm and stay away
There is ice inside my veins
And I don’t want to steal your fire
Leave me be and watch me die
Leave me be and watch me die.
