Wounds heal over time
And tears dry when you cry
And flowers die in the snow
But they grow again in the spring
What do you think about that?

Waves, they wear the rocky shore
Generations will alter our sacred lore
And the dress you tore from the scratch
Is fixed with a patch and no seam to be found
How does that sound to you?

Things happen for a reason
We all get what we need anyway
We’re all searching for a purpose in our lives
Time keeps spinning, cycling on
Flowers come back
And dresses stay intact
And so will you

Times heals a fractured heart
And he will find your missing part
Though in the start it seemed so down
He’ll turn around your missing smile
Let it stay for a while, will you?

Things happen for a reason
We all get what we need anyway
We’re all searching for a purpose in our lives
Time keeps spinning, cycling on
Time, he’ll guide us to our selves

I’m sure those dandelions feel pretty damn lost
Wandering in the wind
So out of control
They’ll never know
Where their life’ll begin

No one said it was easy getting through on your own
But that’s not really true
You’re not by yourself
We’re here with you
You’ll never be alone

Things happen for a reason
We all get what we need anyway
We’re all searching for a purpose in our lives
Time keeps spinning, cycling on
Flowers come back
And dresses stay intact
And so will you
Because we’ll help you through
