Potpourri pt. II
You've got a mouth the size of a Cadillac,
Yet when you're speaking it's the blind leading the blind, go fix your cataracts.
My rhymes are not for the faint of heart, the old or the weak are in danger of heart attacks,
Contradict me, might as well take a snooze on the railroad tracks,
My award is the stunned look on the face of the competition,
It's simple addition, what do you get when you add poetry and emotion to precision?
Taking names, the list long enough to look like a petition,
Can't handle the heat? Kindly get out of the kitchen,
Or make way for those that give the people the fire,
Give the masses much of what they deeply desire.
The rise of a new king leads to the death of the old,
Let these verses carry your corpse instead of a hearse
Or take your man-card right out of your purse,
let the last whispers of your identity disperse.
They're gone with the wind, blowing the ashes
With all due respect you're as real as Nicki Minaj's lashes.
That's what you get when you idolize trash, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Chief Keef,
giving grief to good lyricists,
Trashing the art, I call them all conspiracists,
Making millions for what? Talking garbage over a beat?
Man, take a seat. I'm depleted of any fleeting respect I had for you,
And now you got the masses saying that rap is dead, and guess what? It's true.
You landfill MC's think respect comes out of the blue?
The future of the game lies with a fortunate few,
Or a fortunate two.
Drizzy and Kendrick are the only ones with any emotion,
The rest of them are just jungle noise and commotion,
Give it up for 'em, they need a promotion.
