You have the power to make a difference, If you have the guts to try

It's time ohhhh oh
Here I go
Painting on my face
Let this show begin
No I'm not saying everything's fake
But what you see
Isn't every part of me
No no ohh oh

Chorus
I'm no warrior
This doesn't make me brave
These lies I paint
I wonder if they'll ever fade
Oh fade away
Stripping me

I run and hide
The color washes away
What's left is nothing like you've seen
It's a different part of me
No no you'll never get to know
What lies beneath

Chorus
And I'm no warrior

Take it all
The paint and the armor
Just leave me bare
Am I what you thought you'd see
Do you like every part of me

I never wanted you to see

Chorus

The author's comments:
I think warriors paint their face to hide who they are from the enemy. Well here it's the same thing. But I'm hiding who I really am. But I'm no warrior, just someone pretending, trying to protect them-self.
