When I was a boy, I would always hear scary things in the news and my mother would say to me, "Always look for the helpers. Everywhere you look you will always find people helping." - Fred Rogers

As I watch the shadows burn into my mind
As I see the malice fall away.
As tombstones come to life and walk among sinners
Do I ever yearn? Can I ever see?
My brilliant return? Screaming from the balcony?
When can a memory come to realize
Things will never be simply the perfect set of whys?

Discord dances with the moonlit flame
Harmony disrupted again
Despite all my muffled cries, it's all the same
Both my arms, I wish I could lend
Up here the view looks ever higher still
Looking above the windowsill
When will malevolence turn into benevolence
The waterfalls so high since
I fell

Blackness by a blindfold, I enter the room
My silenced words say "Forgive me, I love you"
But yet again, the sound reflects
Off the pain inflicted by the rest
Open your eyes, look into mine
See the wishes come true

Vivid dreams return again
I have decided when
When the pictures arise
When to purify my lies
Songs to the angels cry
"Remember that you will die"
Tell all the spirits that we will not bow
Rebellion is reaching out
What a beautiful compromise
From the elegance in disguise
The caves can't contain the word's decision
I have never gone away
I have arisen

(Slower)

Rebellion was washed away
By the truth, by the truth
Crying from above
The songs sung to sooth
Freedom will come one day
To take me from the prison
Tell the world, tell the world
I thought I had arisen.

Discord dances with the moonlit flame
Harmony disrupted again
Despite all my muffled cries, it's all the same
Both my arms, I wish I could lend
Up here the view looks ever higher still
Looking above the windowsill
When will malevolence turn into benevolence
The waterfalls so high since
I fell

Carry on, through the waters, through the land
Hear the marching tune of the holy band
These chains, I saw.
God was slowly sinking the ships
As I sang with you through an "apocalypse."
Was it the end?
Was it the final hour?
You, I will send
To climb the tallest tower
Above possession and illusion.
Above all else lies the only one
Are you still there?
Can anybody hear?
Just speaking to Mother again.

Discord dances with the moonlit flame
Harmony disrupted again
Despite all my muffled cries, it's all the same
Both my arms, I wish I could lend
Up here the view looks ever higher still
Looking above the windowsill
When will malevolence turn into benevolence
The waterfalls so high since
You fell

"If who I am is what I have and what I have is lost, then who am I?"

I am an artist bound only for the poet's glory....But only achieve half of the success that my dreams aspire to find, And to what do the whispers tell me of this failure...To what end to they haunt my nightmares...my eternal dark dreams...
