Skull Fracture

I shake,
I tremble,
All because a driver wasn't careful.
I forget,
I remember less,
All because of blunt force to my head.
I woke up in a hospital bed,
My daddy's eyes filled with dread.
"You scared the hell out of me."
He said.
That car didn't kill me,
at least I'm not dead.
The fracture inflicted to my skull is a bit harder to mend.
