At the ending
when can we all start
at the ending
when the resolution is the beginning
when we know what is meant to happen
and can work out our trials
and see light under our problems.
so the rainy days wont be gray
and it would be easier to make our way
past the plot twists and antagonists
when can we all start
at the ending
when the resolution is the beginning
when we know what page the hero saves the day
and can see how lucky we are
to be in our story

This, while I consider a poem I suppose would be considered song lyrics. I wrote this during a hard time in my life, when I escaped the world and ran to poetry to feel alive.
