It'll be all right
She looks like she has seen a bad dream
Maybe there was a snake that flied
Maybe there was a cat that died
Maybe there was a heart that cried
Getting down on one knee
I’d say: All right!
This is a big, big day
Come on, let’s smile!
She looks like she will never sleep again
Tell me what haunts her, I might fight the pain
I might wear armor shining and bright
And wander into battle, for the sake of her sight.
We’d grab hands and dance
We’d kiss the skies if we got the chance
We’d lie in the sun all day
And gaze at the stars; all fey
She looks like she’s having a bad day
But I’m standing there, should I go away?
I think I’m finding out all right
She is not for me, is it worth the fight?
We’d laugh at jokes stale
We’d titter nervously all day
We’d peek into neighbor’s hide-holes
And play with crabs on the shores
I think I should go away
Put the armor I donned away
Place my face in my hands and cry
Take it all out, so I can fly
It’s like a bad, bad dream
She’s woken up, now I’m falling asleep
I’ll in the darkness lie without light
Till she goes away, then it will be all right
For I was alone before she came
I can be alone again, and live away
I don’t wanna see my heart turned
‘Cause that’s where those memories are burned
It’ll be all right, once she goes away
It’ll be all right
It’ll be all right, once I’m alone again
It’ll be all right!
