Let me drown so I can breathe
I'll close my eyes so I can see
Feel the sea against my skin
(draw me in)
Let me fall so I can rise
I'll throw my hands up to the sky
If I believe I just might fly
(fly away from here)
Let me drown so I can breathe

Feel the breeze against my skin
(suffocating)
Going under, sinking deep
Feel the sand beneath my feet
lungs collapsing, thoughts relapsing
breath escaping, new awakening...
