Morning Star
Hey morning star go ahead and blink right off
Hey morning star for me eight minutes is enough
To grow older
I'm ready for it to be colder
Hey morning star I don't want to go alone
To much to leave behind me if I'm going alone
But if you go through
Eight minutes and we'll all be with you
Hey morning star when we go will you hold my hand
Hey morning star aren't you tired of all of this land
Hey morning star aren't you tired of hearing us weep
Well it's hot in the day but it's cooler in sleep
Hey morning star are you scared of what we may find
Or are you scared of what we're leaving behind
Or are you scared that we may really go through
Well I am too
Hey morning star maybe you should stay for a while
Hey morning star, each laugh and every smile
I did forget
So maybe you shouldn't go just yet
Hey morning star did I really think you'd die
You're holding on and if you can that means so can I
Hey morning star you have felt each night and each day
So of everyone you have the right not to stay
But morning star with each tear that you have seen fall
You've seen a smile and you've seen them all
Hey morning star why not stay a'right here with me
There's lots to see.
