Favorite Quote:
'I know a little bit about a lot of things, but not enough to bore anyone.'

The solemnness of the place, awaiting,

The noose and its wretched coils scowl,

For thy time ended with more than fainting,

Love withering with such guilt and foul.

Deathly ruined cracks sprint to Satan’s cloak,

Yet grins and cackles for thy’s hellish end,

The ending scar of life observed by folk,

No chance now for your sin to be at mend.

Creaks of the old pine a detesting squeal,

A breath lightly held, by fate all leads the same,

Now awaiting for a torturous squeal,

Inclosing on who is truly to blame.

Death’s a sacredness upon the hallows,

This is the Hangman Amidst the Gallows.

The author's comments:

I wrote this a mere two years ago. I was highly inspired by Alfred Noyes' 'The Highwayman.'

I wote this sonnet whilst in class, as my memory endeavours.
