In society I am alone, in truth I am Nobody

"Nobody cares, Nobody sees, Nobody is all alone"

Trend, a girl who always changes, says to me

"You're not pretty, your clothes are last year and you're a mess"

A small girl runs by, her face I do not catch

Probably to spread rumors like everyone else

Every day I am kicked, beat and worked to the bone.

And still after years of work I have nowhere to call home

A small girl named Humanity walks up to me

"I heard what Trend said to thee"

"You're beautiful, you're not a mess and your clothes don't matter, you matter"

I smile then let out a cry "Why not bully me like the rest"

"Because you're good enough, you're not a nobody, you're a somebody.

Somebody whose loved, somebody whose needed and somebody whose important."
