My mind just keeps

Moving around too much

Motion, with no stop

Thinking those thoughts

That I’d be better off

The edge of the ledge

Of the Bridge, down on luck

Is something I need

God, I can’t stand this

Is more than enough

For me to take

A little break, some rest

What was I thinking about again?

Was I waiting for my life to end?

This somewhat free-verse  sonnet was intended to give insight into the mind of one who endures an attention-disorder, constantly losing focus with racing thoughts that vanish before they can decipher them. That is why I constructed in the way of each line ending with the start of the next line, without any stops or breaks. Slightly relative to a chain-poem, in some aspects. This somewhat free-verse  sonnet was intended to give insight into the mind of one who endures an attention-disorder, constantly losing focus with racing thoughts that vanish before they can decipher them. My inspiration for this poem came from the "Song That Never Ends." I figured one could make a poem that never ends, but instead I just decided to do a chain-poem.
