Let me inside.
Break those walls,
Lay down your pride.

Open your ears,
Clear your mind.
Simply relax,
Try to unwind.

Open your soul,
Embrace my affection.
There's no more hurting,
No more rejection.

Open your lips,
Link them with mine.
Release your worries,
It'll all be fine.

Open you arms,
Let me in.
Hold me close,
Feel my skin.

Open your eyes,
Look at me.
This is how,
True love should be.

The author's comments:
My boyfriend was going through some really rough times and he began to close himself off to the world around him including me, so I wrote this poem, gave it to him, and had a good talk. The rough times didn't go away but they were easier to deal with while I was holding his hand through it all. Love is amazing. It can do so many things in life...

Oh my gawsh. This is going on my favourites! I can see why it's your favourite poem. It's beyond beautiful! You really have talent, you know? I love the rhythm and your rhymes and pattern. Amazing!! Maybe you can check out my poems sometime too? My own fav poem i've written is Tears
