My Savior, My Angel
I have an angel, my savior with wings,
That protects me from my forgotten fears.
He watches me while the first schoolbell rings,
And He watched me every day all these years.
He has helped me when life was hard to face,
When I had to face feelings of defeat.
He cried for me when I fell from grace,
And gave me the might to stand on my feet.
He was my only light in the thick black,
When life's path became clouded with choices.
He stayed with me when I had lost my track,
And was reason within the bad voices.
He will always protect me from my fears,
Even when my eyes shine with unshed tears.
