"life isn't a matter of milestones, but of moments"

"experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes."

"be as you wish to seem."

"it's better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you are not."

Clear once was the
Glass behind the shades
That now quietly like a mouse
Drafts in bitterly cold air.
I wonder how the world is,
But this disease holds me inside.
Not just in myself,
But inside my home.
I want to feel the warmth of the suns’ rays,
Lighting up my skin as a lamp in a dark room.
Doctors say, “Oh, no, you are too pale
But to go out when the stars
Arise from space.”
The dream like wonders of butterflies
Fluttering calmingly among the flowers
Dies harshly when I’m aloud out.
The smell of roses does not soothe my nose
When the man sits on the moon.
And yes, I ask you, drafty windows,
When did you, clear by day, decide
It was okay to betray me by night?
The crystals of blue skies
Through the window disappear,
When I’m aloud out.
