If We Would...
Life is full or pain and fury,
There is heartbreak and hell everywhere.
Inside of me something starts churning,
To rage against the dark and despair.
To see the joy and happiness that could be,
If the world could work together,
If everyone were to laugh a little, we
Could be happy, if not for forever,
But at least for a bit,
People could live in their dreams,
And just forget,
That we’re all on separate teams.
If the world would join hands and unite,
Then we could dwell more on what’s right.
