Locked up Love Sonnet

In the dusk of the night, he is sleeping
Resting his eyes so he can see clearly
Awake is she, sitting up and weeping
Thinking about the one she loves dearly

The morning comes and the sun is rising
He climbs out of his bed and greets the day
Outside he sees something so surprising
He sees his love and has something to say

Their unrequited love is in a jail
Guarded by his friends who would say no way
He wants to love her but cant pay the bail
He wishes that his friends would say okay

Their love dilemma is common today
Many lovers are judged and then must pay
