Rocking the red all over Verizon
Puck dropping excited loud crowd rising
Players sticks slapping on the solid ice
A very long shot to goal would be nice
Many players fight for puck possession
This normally leads to an ejection
This will lead to bloody fights on the rink
Fans yelling for more, there right at the brink
Capitals will try for another goal
None are able to find an open hole
Opposing team gain control of the puck
Skating on like crazy, they score, what luck
No way, we didn’t come to see them lose
Not the ending the crowd would want to choose
