Untitled
If ever shall you of your feelings speak
And every shard of truth to me unveil,
No matter if it’s praise or high critique,
To gently tame your tears I’ll never fail.
Despotic fate will soon prepare us both
For severing all trace of love we bred
And we’ll recant and spurn this precious oath,
Developing new vows of faith instead.
But when we break may you contentment find
With someone who will live to die with you
Begin afresh and leave me far behind
The dream that you decided to pursue.
Because of you my heart was often torn,
Yet pity me, had you been never born.
