At school I fathom, music is my guide
It soothes my restless soul and keeps me here
It always cloaks me when I want to hide
I feel at peace when music hits my ear
I always see the thing that helps me cope
I see the music swirl around my head
I see the timbre painting peace and hope
When the fire inside is almost dead
I hear the rhythm flowing through my vein
I hear the words of hope that have been gone
It feels like finding sunshine after rain
I feel renewed from each and every song
I realize the power of every phrase
In think in time that we’ll have better days
