I am a musician.
I wonder what’s fff?
I hear music everywhere.
I see an orchestra.
I want to play guitar.
I am a musician.

I pretend not to have a dream world.
I feel a thin reed.
I touch the smooth silver keys.
I worry I’ll never perfect it.
I cry “Sing it again!”
I am a musician.

I understand how to read music.
I say I love this piece.
I dream of no more sad songs.
I try to play my best.
I hope my last song is happy.
I am a musician.

I wrote this for a class assignment some years ago. I changed it a bit, but not much, so this is a good example of my younger work.
