Alas my friend
You’ve done me no wrong
But today will end
And then you’ll be gone
As the night falls
I await your caress
While the hidden moonlight calls
My hearts duress
Your hand is absent
No longer in mine
My lips, upside down
Praying for thine
But tomorrow will arrive
