Forever Young
Her time had come and gone.
The moments we had are always cherished.
I can’t say that I have moved on,
Not ready for her to have perished.
There’s still a lot of guilt,
From the mess that tore us apart.
There’s no doubt that she was built,
And ready to depart.
It’s a bona fide truth
That the good die young.
Her beauty and her youth,
Were songs unsung.
It is not the end,
She’ll always be my best friend.
