“Every thorn is just part of the stem to a beautiful rose” - R.R.

How do we let the world be filled with hate?

Because we preserve hate instead of love.

We write words and art that go on and prate

About the darkness sad thoughts are made of.

If only evil is preserved in stone,

How can we expect better days to come?

Hate will become the only thing we’ve known,

All we’ll have to teach our daughters and sons.

So be inspired by every pure thing,

Those beautiful things that our world would miss.

We’ll pass through time with only love to bring,

So one day love will be all that there is.

Make art that finds the beauty in life’s mess,

Preserve what’s good to forget all the rest.
