"Anything that gets your blood racing is probably worth doing"

I am lying down on a bed of stone
Leaving my shadow in blood on the rock
Chilled down to each individual bone
The small percussion of teeth as they knock
My feet swollen from running and dancing
Skin covered in goose bumps, too cold for June
The sky moves past, the night is advancing
Bruises bathed yellow in light of the moon
Frozen to the ground by sweat, blood, and tears
Shining my old flashlight up at the stars
A message they’ll get in a million years
Along with my frozen breaths, trapped in jars
I’m sending these the last way I know how
With the great happiness of here and now
