I can still feel you hand around my hips
Holding me closer than ever before.
I can still feel the softness of your lips
As you held my hand outside of your door.
I constantly wished those days wouldn't end,
But all good things cannot last forever.
For weeks I sought and aimed to work and mend
The love we shared everyday together.
You had never felt the way that I did.
Every morning saying nothing had changed,
I accepted it, but I was a kid.
I knew my heart's feelings were rearranged.
Still I miss you and feel you close to me,
Still you are not mine, the way it should be.
