They are the things that open worlds up wide.
New adventures to have in every page.
Dive into a world where all are on stage.
Soar above treetops with birds along side.
Love ones who’ve loved and been loved again. Then,
Fight battles that have already been won.
Fight wars that have been long done.
Bask in their relief, feel their trial times ten.
Books are meant to be read, shared, and written.
They offer an escape from the world’s hard shove.
You can find a book on just about any theme.
It isn’t hard to tell why I’m smitten.
I’m taken places I could not dream of.
And so, do not judge books on how they seem.
