A long time ago,

A little girl was touched

She didn't tell her parents

Because she knew they'd hurt too much



She kept a hidden secret

That burned her deep inside

Although she felt no regret,

She didn't like to hide




She told me this dark secret

It filled my heart with fear

I wouldn't tell a soul

Until the day she wasn't here



She loved her family dearly,

But she had too much pain

My best friend took her life

And I'll never be the same

Suicide is never the answer and I highly encourage anyone who has suicidal thoughts to get help. It can be tough but there will always be someone to pick you up off your feet if you let them
