My Mother
Mother! You’re the best, I love you so much!
Where would my life be without you by me?
No other fits in our family tree.
No one can defeat your motherly touch.
Our family appreciates you so much.
There’s no one better than you as you see.
Life’s been great, due to you, mother of three.
We’re all holding on to you like a clutch.
Because you have made me someone better
As your daughter I try to make you proud
When skies are grey you remove the sad cloud
If you’re not here we cannot call this home
I’ll treasure you and your gifts for ever
I love you, that’s why I write this poem.
