"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen." Albert Einstein

There is a tall, thin man who comes at night,
His eyes sunken deep and lips shrivelled thin,
Although, he doesn't mean to bring a fright,
Just take away bad dreams which convey with sin.
He scratches nightmares away from stars,
So no black clouds or mist cover their path,
His bones click while walking roads without cars,
His arms swinging like the shepherds old staff.
Love beats from his heart for young small children,
Like a father shouting his sons reward,
He leaves the house at just quarter past ten,
And looks left then takes five paces forward.
Protecting young children from dark bad dreams,
Loving, caring, with only little means.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

I like this poem simply because it was a story. For some reason my internet connection is running weird and wont let me rate. I'd give it four stars ****. Keep up the good work.
