In halcyon waters of the abysmal Pacific Ocean,
Crystal-clear bubbles poise on the lonely sea
Like freshly painted murano glass in motion
Waiting for the orcas' appearance and esprit

Orca's swim toward the promising crescent moon
Underneath a vast bed of iridescent stars
Realizing that the light will disappear too soon
Killer whales leap after the purest hearts

The orcas begin to dive into the falling skies
Coral reef fish dance to the beat of tidal waves
The sun's fading rays will never shine or rise
Sea kelp disentangles in the darkest caves

Night will be amaranthine in a shallow water oasis
Majestic orcas are dreaming joyously in euphoric bliss

My poem is inspired by one of my favorite animals, the killer whale.
