"Once social justice begins, it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride. And you cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore." -Cesar Chavez

A whisper hidden in the ancient trees
A sound so soft, but as pure as can be
Hushed only by the chilly autumn breeze
And the great roar of the almighty sea
Two eyes shine with mystifying wisdom
They gaze towards the light piercing the sky
Awaiting their moment of sweet freedom
The clouds depart, and the warm sun reins high
A song of wondrous beauty lifts the soul
Marking the beginning of a new age
As it says in the tattered golden scroll
The bird flies from its invisible cage
A flutter of vibrant wings; there it goes
Where the nightingale soars to, no one knows…

I have always loved the sound of birds chirping, and I fell in love with the sound of the Chinese Nightingale and at how beautiful they are.
