Romeo's Heart
Romeo, Romeo you’ll never know
I’m aware that your heart belongs to me
It captures me in the chains of pure snow
But because of you I’ll never be free

You have been nothing but honest and true
You always tried to catch me when I fell
But all you have done was tighten my screw
The powers that be say I’m going to hell

Now you’ve done it, pushed me past the edge
Incessant loves bears me down, smothering
Clenching your love, a push over the ledge
As you fall, I relish your suffering

Glazed in hate, I hold your heart in my hand
Romeo’s heart, crushed, into flecks of sand.
