foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of the mind

when the sky clouds under

and the sun caves out

when the birds stay silent

and the night is bright

a happy little child

standing accompanied in bed

slept like a rock

was under its head

the words turned forward

the faces smiling

the happy cries

of small ones' remorse

when big ones die.

Thank you so much! Each time I publish a new piece I'm unsure of whether people will take to it or completely discard it, and each time you leave a beautiful comment on my page that just lifts me up. Thank you so much! <3 <3 <3

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

I found this beautiful yet rather sad too. It's absolutely, breath-taking and phonemonela. It has so much, beauty and rawness and simplicity yet power in it. It also has emotion and rawness swirling in your poem, in your words.    All I can say is that I'm touched, and that I am glad that I know you for you are a wonderful and amazing and talentedd writer, filled with light and greatness and talent. :)   Thank you so much, my friend! For sharing this. :)
