Life of the Forest
One could feel insignificant in this place
overlooking the serene beauty, warmed by the grace,
amongst the trees, you are free
to bask in nature’s embrace.
Walk along the waters, not far from the green,
stand at the edge of the world, to find yourself unable to leave
the waters rush off the edge, and crash down below,
standing amongst the wonder you can’t help but to beam.
All are welcome here, friend and fellow
to be warmed by the radiant sun, and listen to the waterfalls bellow,
under the majesty of the endless blue sky
in the untouched brilliance of nature, so mellow.
none can stay forever, listening to the resplendent chime
we all have but limited time,
we all must rest, it is the way of nature, to die
we all must muster up the strength to say good-bye.
