The Ocean

It is large and deep
Sometimes full of mystery
It gives a feeling of rest and sleep
It has been around through all of history
I get a blue feeling
When I see the allure
Of the ocean, as if it’s healing
And has powers and a strange cure
However, the ocean is my favorite place
One of which, I can escape
Reality and travel to space
Where there is no time or shape
But whenever I go to the ocean, I always know
The ocean is always somewhere I can enjoy life and lay low
