Spring Break
Spring break is a breath for students everywhere
A time to relax, if only for a week,
Free from teachers and the homework that they bear.
Up north, students accustom to cold and bleak
But many migrate to the south like a bird
In order to find the weather that they seek
Students feel the weather from which they had heard
They play in the water and enjoy the beach
Amazed by the heat, since to them, its absurd
To stay there forever is what they beseech
But they can not live their life with the fishes
For they have to go back to the ones who teach
The break for students suddenly finishes
Their brief sense of freedom and joy diminishes
