The sudden release of tears from the sky
slowly seeping through the deep crevices
sweeping the warmth of the clouds. The wind sighs
rubber boots squeak out sounds like kisses
Carefully skittering through puddles of shame
Coursing and glazing over the earth’s skin.
Mimicking hidden emotions not tame
drizzling on dry hearts and nurturing akin
Jagged lightning pierced heart-shattered hope
sharp pain distorted vision, broken glass
prickling thoughts beyond the mind’s scope
Slipping and sliding on thoughts hard to grasp
The solution to problems beyond ken
Ray of sun illuminating heaven

I like your rhyme scheme, I never have the patience for that but you're super at it!
