Drifted Away
I wished that you could remember me
Things were not like they were used to
Life sadly wasn't meant to be
But all I want is me and you
Think about the sweet fluffy pancakes
That would always accompany us in a meal
You being there creates a new path to make
Hoping that it needs nothing to heal
But you managed to make a choice
That somehow tore us further away
I just had no right for a voice
It just wasn't my day
Why did you go so far and never looked back?
Far oversees, you never spoke again; is there something that I lack?
