A fast food restaurant isn’t typically what I think of when I think of high quality food, but after eating at Culver’s I think much differently. Not only is the food at Culver’s high quality, but it is also very affordable and fast.

Culver’s has burgers, chicken tenders, seafood, salad, and of course custard. This makes Culver’s a great family restaurant considering there is food that every age type will enjoy to eat. Culver’s even has kids meals which come with a free scoop of delicious custard.

The butterburger is typically what I order when I go to Culver’s. The bun is lightly buttered and the patty is seared to perfection. This burger is very flavorful and the butter gives the patty a nice crispy edge. There are endless options of toppings such as cheese, onions, pickles, bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes to complete your burger however you like it. The burger goes perfectly with a side of delicious crinkle cut fries that have just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenders are also extremely delicious, the juicy chicken is filled with flavor. These tenders are made from all natural, whole-white meat and are served hot with a crispy golden brown crust. They are served with your choice of sweet-and-sour, BBQ, honey mustard, or ranch dipping sauce which all complement the chicken tenders very nicely.

The perfect way to finish off this meal is eating a nice scoop of creamy, rich custard. Culver’s does a “flavor of the day” but also offers chocolate or vanilla custard with any toppings you may choose. The flavor of the day when I visited Culver’s was Cappuccino Cookie Crumble, however I decided to go with a traditional scoop of vanilla topped with raspberries. The raspberries complimented the vanilla wonderfully, it was like digging my spoon into a scoop of heaven.  

For those who are more health conscious there are still many options for you to choose from. There are multiple salads that you can get as a meal or as a side to your meal. Some of the salads include cranberry bacon bleu salad with grilled chicken, chicken cashew with grilled chicken salad, garden fresco with grilled chicken salad, and the side salad. I would recommend the garden fresco salad which you can get with or without the grilled chicken.  The garden fresco salad is a bed of mixed greens topped with sliced cucumbers, grape tomatoes, shredded Wisconsin cheddar, and zesty croutons. This is the perfect meal for someone who might be more health conscious.

Although the food is high quality the prices are low. An original butter burger is only priced at $2.79. Culver’s also offers value baskets which is where you can build your own burger or sandwich and those range from $3.00 to $4.00. The salads Culver’s offers range from $4.19-$6.49.The custard that Culver’s is known for is only priced at $2.29 for one scoop in a dish or cone.

I was not only satisfied with the price and the food itself, but I was also satisfied with the customer service. My food arrived shortly after I ordered it and there were no problems with the quality of how the food was cooked. I was greeted by an employee opening the door for me as I walked into the restaurant. All waiters and waitresses spoke politely and were extremely positive to myself and other customers around me. The restaurant itself is also maintained very well, the tables were all clean and the floor was spotless. The bathrooms were also kept clean to ensure that customers felt comfortable.

Typically fast food restaurants are inexpensive with lower quality food, but that is not the case with Culver’s. Culver’s has very quick, yet high quality food at an affordable price that tastes absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a place to treat your family or yourself to a nice meal, Culver’s is just the place for you.
