Legalized Marijuana Could Mean Disaster
The article “Legalized Marijuana Could Mean Disaster” written by Cole Berryman made me feel surprise. I am shocked with the realization that marijuana is becoming legal across more and more states throughout the nation. Marijuana is more dangerous than ever before but now it being legalized instead of illegalized. “The THC levels in marijuana today are over five times more potent than in the 1980s.” With marijuana being so easily obtained, the chances of people using more extreme drugs increase immensely. “Marijuana is often referred to as a gateway drug.” Marijuana is a drug that needs to be taken seriously. Because many people are ignoring the fact that marijuana is a dangerous drug, there have been many deaths corresponding with marijuana.
