Imagine sleeping for one year. Sounds nice right? WRONG. The Adoration of Jenna Fox is about a 17-year-old girl named Jenna. Jenna lives in California with her mom Claire, dad, and grandma Lily.  Jenna falls into a coma and stays in her coma for one year and doesn't remember anything after she wakes up. “ I don't remember anything about my mother, father, or lily. I don't remember that I once lived in Boston.” The doctors thought she would never wake up because her accident was unsurvivable.  How is it possible that she woke up? Does this make Jenna different from the others? This sci-fi novel is written by Mary E. Pearson.

I found the book very confusing and hard to read and I was getting bored very easily. It is set in Jenna’s mind and that sometimes can get confusing. The book does get a little interesting towards the end of the book but the rest is very boring. I did not find the book engaging or interesting. I would not recommend this book to anyone, but if you like mystery and sci-fi then I would recommend this book.
