Where the Heart Is
I was assigned the book "Where the heart is" by some guy named Billie Letts in my English class. The theme of the book was about home and family.
The novel is about a girl named Novalee, it starts when shes 17 and pregnant and ends seven years later when shes 24. The storyline follows Novalee's life and how she creates a home and family for herself.
I did not like this book at all, in fact i hated reading this book. My opinion of the book is probably from my hatred for reading anything at all. The actual messages of the book itself also helped me lose interest in the first few chapters. i personally would never recommend any book to anyone, but i would assume only girls who like touchy-feely books and chick flics would enjoy this book.
