Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Wow! I went into the book with high expectations because my family of book lovers with different tastes all loved it. I, however; am forced to read books with more than 50 pages. Anyway, this book blew those expectations out of the water! The story line was intense, the fate of humanity on the line. Card wrote the book in a way that kept me reading through the night. I knew how the book was going to end, but the way it got there was the true nail biteing reason. Card has compelled me to read Ender's Shadow which was also amazing, if not better, and I am currently reading Ender in Exile which is wonderful too.
