The mixture of sad, then happy, scary then an adventure is sure to make any soul love this amazing Newberry awarded book, Ruby Holler.

Two 8-year-old orphan kids, Florida and Dallas, who have had many bad experiences with other homes, take a chance at finally trusting an old couple who they get put with in a home in Ruby Holler. They got sent to an old couple in Ruby Holler by their cruel orphanage.

This book makes me think about how hard it would be living with a complete stranger. I feel luckier that I have a good home and good family. This book is inspiring to kids and also fun to read because it has a little bit of adventure in it too! The plot line makes you want to read more and really reaches out for your heart!
