Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
Hatchet
By: Gary Paulsen
How would you react if you got in a plane crash and had to survive in the wild? Scared? Calm? Well that is exactly the way Brian felt in the book hatchet now it’s up to him to survive in the wild.
It all started when Brian was flying to see his mom. And Brian got in a plane crash(only because the pilot had a heart attack and died). Now Brian has to face his fears and survive on his own, with only a hatchet and the clothes he is wearing.
My favorite part probably is when the bear comes when he smells Brains raspberries and eats them through the window. Then Brian comes and sees the bear and just waits until it leaves.
I would recommend this book to people who love survival stories I would give this book three out of five stars, because didn't’t like the way it began it was kind of boring. But I really liked the ending.
