The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
An original, thoughtful story about a shepherd who takes on a journey to find his Personal Legend.
This is an amazing book, and personally, I loved it. However, would I say that is a book I would recommend to a lot of my friends? No. I believe this is a book that very few of my friends will enjoy. Why? Mainly because it takes a lot of patience and a strong love of reading to comprehend this book.
The book digs deep into your mind and soul and really makes you think. Rather than an easy, fictional story, the book is riddled with ponderous questions and deep forethoughts that question fate.
So, no. I would not recommend it for someone who prefers entertainment without deep forethought.
