Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a movie that takes place in the Harry Potter universe but in the year 1926. Newt Scamander is a native of England, and he's just completed an epic excursion that included him traveling all across the globe in search of extraordinary creatures that go from being to small insect-like creatures to invisible beasts larger than the wizard himself. Although he originally comes to America as a quick stop, he ends up being forced to stay for longer when some of his creatures escape. In order to help him rescue his animals, Newt befriends a Muggle named Jacob that helps in an adventure for the ages as the duo attempts to rescue the creatures that could potentially cause trouble in the wizarding world. 
 Although this movie isn't quite on the same level as the Harry Potter movies, this movie is still a jam-packed roller coaster that combines an intriguing plot with fun, relatable characters that help to make the movie feel magical. While the creatures in the movie are certainly spectacular and innovative, the vividly outstanding visual effects make the said creatures look realistic and add a science fiction-esque to the movie, which creates combines an entirely new element to the movie. 

 Even though parts of the movie start to feel slightly confusing and too complicated, the excellent ending ends things on a high note and manages to tie up all loose ends, as well as provide some much needed explanation. The witchcraft in this movie is exceptional, and there are lots of intense drama that takes advantage of the suspense that the movie builds up with ease. 

 Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them combines both the magic world and the Muggle world, which is an interesting site to see. Because nearly all of the movie takes place in New York City, the movie has feels super realistic, which further helps to send audiences to the magical world. As great as the movie is, it lacks when compared to the eight movies in the original Harry Potter franchise. As long as people don't try to compare this movie to those superb movies, they will receive an enjoyable quest that is an incredible movie in its own right. 

 Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a fair 74%, and a fairly high 93% of Google users liked the movie, which goes to show how much viewers enjoyed it. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a mysterious magic movie that is absolutely a movie that's worth watching.
