In this twisted CIA thriller, Evelyn Salt is played by Angelina Jolie. When a supposedly simple Russian infiltrates the CIA office place covered by a petroleum company, it turns Salt’s world upside down. The Russian accuses Salt of being a Russian spy that was set in the CIA years ago.
In an effort to save her beloved husband from the hands of the CIA or whatever organization this mystery Russian was from, she escapes her confinement inside the headquarters. This makes the CIA suspect that she is who the Russian said she was.
Throughout the whole film, Angelina Jolie keeps a perfect poker face. She never showed who side she was on until the very end. She keeps you guessing through the whole movie. Angelina Jolie is Evelyn Salt.
